Azure’s Jan/Feb 2015 issue takes you inside five exceptional homes around the world, and features Frank Gehry’s Fondation Louis Vuitton, the best of London Design Week and a compendium of the must-see design and architecture events of 2015.

Our Jan/Feb issue, now on newsstands, takes you inside five stunning residences. Among them: a house on California’s Pacific coast by L.A. firm Deegan Day Design that blurs the line between dwelling and landscape; a Lisbon farmhouse converted by Aires Mateus into a timeless paradise of minimalist serenity; and an all-concrete Arthur Erickson icon that Vancouver firm BatterbyHowat has renovated into a livable and waterproof family home.

We also marvel at Frank Gehry’s much-talked-about Fondation Louis Vuitton. The soaring structure, in a wooded park on the outskirts of Paris, features a sail-like facade containing 3,548 glass panes that the project’s team of over 100 engineers developed with aircraft manufacturer Dassault. Inside, Olafur Eliasson’s poetic installation of light and mirrors overlooks a reflecting pool in the building’s grotto.

This issue also includes a comprehensive guide to 2015’s must-see events, from Expo Milano to the Chicago architecture biennial; an interview with furniture designer Sebastian Herkner (who takes the main stage at Toronto’s Interior Design Show next month); a roundup of the coolest – and loudest – wireless speakers and dining tables and chairs; and the very best of September’s London Design Week and the Cersaie tile fair in Bologna, Italy.

The Jan/Feb 2015 issue is on newsstands now in Canada, and December 29 in the U.S.
