Azure’s new website

Azure’s new website

The new Azure website was launched at midnight on November 12. It may sound like the usual spiel, but it does represent the culmination of months of the three E’s: effort, energy and enthusiasm.

When we did our last web survey a little more than a year ago, we were surprised to learn that most of our visitors were happy with our old site. So what were we thinking? Why on earth would we reinvent the whole thing? Well, please correct us if we are wrong, but we were determined to even make it better. In a word, to give you more.

You may have noticed that the new site reconfigures as you re-size your browser window. But you may not have noticed yet that the site is device responsive – meaning, it adjusts automatically to fit your screen. Now you can read our latest posts on your smart phone while you wait for take-out, the doctor, your date, or on your tablet while the kettle boils, the game goes into overtime, the cnc laser-cutter carves out yet another panel.

Our content has been organized according to the subjects you are most interested in – design, architecture, interiors and, of course, curiosity. Bigger pictures better communicate the power and beauty of the amazing people, projects, products and ideas we feature. The Product Guide is full of great new products with more on their way all the time. Jobs, events, competitions and trade show coverage are more prominent and easier to find. Tables of content for back issues are viewable and quick links take you to where you can purchase single copies, subscriptions and our digital editions. Plus, the search button works – yes, it really works.

And there’s more to come – watch for the upcoming launch of the My Azure section, where we will invite you to share your latest creations.

We’d love your feedback. Please use the commenting feature below to tell us your thoughts. Or send us an email at [email protected]
