At Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco,  Azure was featured in a product demonstration for the company’s new operating system.

At the hugely attended and widely live-streamed conference on June 10, the Cupertino company unveiled new software and hardware, including the hotly anticipated iOS7 operating system for iPhone and iPad.

New features for the mobile devices include the free iTunes Radio and AirDrop, a file-sharing service. Significant updates were made to existing applications, such as the Notification Center and Siri. In the demo for Safari, Azure was spotted as one of the websites showcased on the browser’s redesigned user interface, which features a scrolling tabs feature.

In addition to iOS7, Apple introduced OS X Mavericks, a new desktop operating system, a Macbook Air that promises 12 hours of battery life, and a cylindrical Macbook Pro tower.

The new operating systems boast flat icons and a new font that looks like a variation of Helvetica Neue. It will be available in the fall for iPhone 4 and, later, iPad 2, iPad mini and the fifth generation of the iPod touch.
