1 Grass Roots by Phillip Jeffries
Ramie, sea grass and boodle grass make up this textured wallcovering from the New Jersey manufacturer. It comes in 25 shades, from Natural to Pink’s Passion and Fairfield’s Teal.
2 Archives by NLXL
Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel of Antwerp’s Studio Job raided their files for drawings, icons, images and patterns to create nine-metre long papers without repetition. The collection includes Withered Flowers, shown, in monochrome or full-colour versions.
3 Verona by MDC
Made in Italy, this opulent wallpaper is available in 14 styles – and in bolds and neutrals with a pearlescent finish thanks to a glass bead embellishment.
4 Shoes by Flavor Paper
The Brooklyn studio teamed up with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to create nine hand-screened papers. The line includes Shoes, which was recently inducted into the permanent collection of the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Several colourways are available.
5 Black Brick by NLXL
This image of paint-saturated bricks represents a slick departure from Piet Hein Eek’s usual scrap wood pieces for the Dutch wallpaper manufacturer. The no-repeat heavy-duty wallpaper is washable with a soft cloth.
6 Indie Wood by Timorous Beasties
Glasgow’s Timorous Beasties incorporated various birds and woodland creatures into its latest wallcovering with a romantic flair. Indie Wood also comes in cream and charcoal.
7 NappaCraft by Concertex
Beveled edges lend depth to these handcrafted faux leather tiles, pre-backed with 3M’s peel and stick adhesive for easy installation. They come in limitless styles and are suited to high-traffic contract spaces.
8 Mona Confesses by Rollout
Despite its name, this pixelated mural renders Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous painting even more mysterious. Designed by Toronto’s Rollout with Robert Sangster, the non-woven covering, with water-based pigment, transforms any wall with a graphic statement.
