If you love Moroccan cuisine, check out these earthenware tajines for making your own versions of lamb stew and couscous dishes at home. This modern take, in black and white with a variety of boldly coloured tips, is from Revol, a French porcelain company that dates back to the 18th century. $300

A regular collaborator with Alessi, Bologna’s Miriam Mirri applied her trademark heart motif to her latest collection, which includes a bone china mug and stainless steel tea infuser. The latter incorporates motifs from textiles Mirri has designed. $28-30

To create the textured look on these sake pots and wine cooler, the Japanese artist hand-turned solid birch wood logs on a lathe then finished each piece with food-safe, water-based resin for protection from moisture. $140–220 at Mjölk

The vibrant graphics on these laminated plywood trays by British designer Donna Wilson harken back to the castles of medieval times. Made in Sweden for London manufacturer SCP, they come in two sizes and three colourways. $50
