These outdoor lighting collections – from Vibia, Flos, Extremis and more – are ready to light the path to patio weather.
1 Butler by Delta Light
Designed by Arik Levy, this indoor/outdoor collection comprises 18 floor- and wall-mount iterations, all available in grey aluminum or black-coated polymer.
2 Sol by Extremis
The Belgian brand launched Sol, a sunshade that transforms into a lamp at night, alongside the new Luna chaise during Milan’s design week in April.
3 Lampie-on by Fatboy
Another Milan introduction, these wireless portable lamps come with a charging base and an integrated hook that allows it to be hung.
4 Camouflage by Flos
Flos brought a hugely expanded outdoor collection to Frankfurt for Light + Building in March, including these flush-mount discs by Piero Lissoni, which can be selected to blend in with exterior walls, or contrast.
5 Gringo by Karman
Known for whimsical outdoor lighting such at the owl-shaped Tivedo lamps, Karman ‘s 2016 novelties include these LED-lit fibreglass cacti.
6 Soho Outdoor by Marset
The latest version of these exterior wall-mounted lights, designed by Joan Gaspar, are in new hues perfectly suited to outdoor installations: sky blue and sand.
7 Ciulifiruli by Martinelli Luce
This hanging lamp clusters four diffuser shapes and five vibrant base colours, which hang from bright orange cords.
8 June by Vibia
Emiliana Design Studio’s string of suspended lighting discs evokes a line of crescent moons floating overhead, while the table lamp version of June offers a full orb.
