1 Armonica by Antonangeli
Inspired by the tailored, masculine look of 1970s designs, Armonica takes the form of a scoop reflector from a high-powered floor lamp and transforms it into an adjustable wall light. Its name conveys the harmony of material and line into a strong identity.
2 Bramah by David Weeks Studio
To find the perfect curve for Bramah’s wing-like reflectors, David Weeks spent months finessing the unique custom-extruded metal shapes. Weeks’s first kinetic chandelier – which has an undeniable mid-century vibe – poises these meticulously balanced arms on polished chrome wands.
3 Valentine by Moooi
The diffuser in this Marcel Wanders-designed pendant is clear-blown glass featuring his distinctive floral pattern. The shade, available in chrome, gold, white or black lacquer, is mirrored inside to amplify the pattern’s visibility.
4 Lustre by Tom Dixon
Known for pushing the boundaries of his material finishes, Tom Dixon experimented with metallic and mineral glazes to produce the unusual iridescent effects on this collection of pendants. The shades in Dixon’s first stoneware line are handmade in Holland and are treated using a top-secret process that ensures every shade is unique and unrepeatable.
5 Curl by Luceplan
This tabletop lamp incorporates a special dimmable LED module with a rotating diffuser that allows users to adjust the colour temperature. The striking reflector widens the light source to eliminate harsh shadows.
6 Spline by Arturo Alvarez
Although it looks like sculpted concrete, Spline is actually a metal frame with curves inspired by the lines of pencil sketched on paper. It’s covered with a soft, rubbery fabric dotted with pinholes that allow light to escape in a gentle glow.
7 Rock Garden by Pallucco
Kazuhiro Yamanaka’s lamp comprises a lacquered metal frame housing linear fluorescent bulbs. The pyramids piled inside – inspiring the name – are available in an assortment of colours including white, black and red.
8 Doll by Foscarini
This playful design by Ionna Vautrin combines a polycarbonate body in grey, green, ivory, or red with a blown-glass diffuser head – creating a table lamp with an unmistakably personable character.
9 Superstar by Slamp
Dullness is not in the cards with this pendant. A polyhedron of iridescent prismatic polycarbonate, it comes in small and large versions; the larger (pictured) boasts longer spikes for a total width of 80 centimetres.
10 Summer and Spring by Leucos
Hand-blown from Leucos’s signature Murano glass, this pair of shades was the last design Eva Zeisel worked on directly before passing away earlier this year at the age of 105. The pendants come in wall-mounted and table lamp options.
