Hand-woven from Tibetan highland wool and silk, Sliced Rugs by Jan Kath have the look of cross-sections of precious and semi-precious emeralds, hematite, quartz and agate. The high-contrast designs are created by weavers switching materials between single knots, and there are no recurring patterns in a single rug.
